In our stressful everyday lives, many of us spend time in nature to recharge our batteries. There is a way, however, to benefit more from nature than just go for a walk in the country. Forest immersion walks are a great opportunity to improve your wellbeing in everyday life. Walk of Leaf organise forest immersion walks around Ireland and life coaching in nature. The forest immersion walks are a wonderful way to connect back in with nature in a very calm and peaceful way.

My brief: was to create a unique brand identity to convey both parts of Walk of Leaf’s business – both forest immersion walks and life coaching in nature. The Walk of Leaf icon is a uniquely hand crafted icon consisting of Japanese characters, which mean, 土 - tsuchi, for ‘earth’, 木 - ki, for ‘tree’ and 上 - ue, for ‘above’. The outer shape conveys a water droplet growing from a stem into a tree accompanied by 3 leaves. This identity is contemporary and works very successfully as an outdoor activity brand.
